2017 Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta
Saturday 22nd April, 10am to 5pm
Sunday 23rd April, 10am to 3.30pm
Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta began life as a commercial venture but was taken over by a volunteer committee of local needlework and textiles enthusiasts in 2004 and run as a not-for-profit event, raising much-needed funds for the benefit of the local community and local textile groups.
In addition to the provision of small grants to these groups, during the past four years alone we have been able to donate more than £10,000 to Brockenhurst Village Trust which, amongst other things, has helped to pay for various improvements to the Village Hall facilities including resurfacing of the car park, redesign of the entrance and foyer and other refurbishments.
The Fiesta itself is months in the planning and takes place over a Saturday and Sunday in late April each year. It occupies the entire Village Hall building which provides more than 500 square metres of needlework and textiles related stalls, exhibitions and demonstrations to enjoy!
We have a unique mix of traders who come from far and wide with their vast array of supplies covering an equally vast range of crafts. We also have a diverse line-up of exhibitors and demonstrators from the local area to showcase their work and share information on upcoming workshops, groups and events.
